when she started off, I remember she answered someone who said that she – the fan – was not pretty. jess said she was sure she was beautiful, etc – but then I guess someone didn’t behave very well and I guess she just stopped.

I am an huge Joni Mitchell fan and was reading an interview of hers last night – and then some more searching led me to this blog! I don’t know what other songs Jessica is planning for her Christmas record, but I feel River is a great choice. The song captures a different feeling and is open to interpretation. I look forward to hearing her version! Yay!! And, thanks so much for sharing the Allison video

The videos are nice and I also really like the song. I can imagine that Jess will put her own spin on this one and I can also imagine her holding long and high notes too. Kind of exciting anticipating!
